Data Recovery for Disbandment/Dismissals that occurred with Group Content (Nov. 1)

We would like to share details regarding the data recovery performed in Patch 6.28 for the following issue that was addressed in the Sep. 1, 2022 Hotfixes.

■Issue details
There were cases where the Cross-world Linkshell, PvP team, or fellowship was disbanded if the owner (Cross-world Linkshell/fellowship: Master, PvP team: Team leader) had no more subscription days on their account and their character was withdrawn.


■Data recovery performed on disbanded Cross-world Linkshell

We have performed data recovery for all Cross-world Linkshells that were disbanded due to this issue.

If you have exceeded the maximum number (8) of Cross-world Linkshells you can join due to the data recovery, some of the excess Cross-world Linkshells will not appear in the list, and you will not be able to chat in them. You will receive a message when you log in if there are excess Cross-world Linkshells, and we kindly ask you to leave the unwanted Cross-world Linkshells to adjust them to be under the maximum number. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this.

1. Leave unwanted Cross-world Linkshells
2. Close the Cross-world Linkshelk window
3. Execute text command “//resetSettingCWLS”
4. Change area or log in again
*Executing the text command will initialize the order of your Cross-world Linkshells. As exceeding the maximum number may cause issues with the order information, we kindly ask you to sort the order again after executing the text command. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this.


■Data recovery performed on disbanded fellowships

We have performed data recovery for all fellowships that were disbanded due to this issue.

If you have exceeded the maximum number (10) of fellowships you can join due to the data recovery, some of the excess fellowships will not appear in the list. You will receive a message when you log in if there are excess fellowships, and we kindly ask you to leave the unwanted fellowships to adjust them to be under the maximum number. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this.


■Data recovery performed on characters that were dismissed from their fellowship

As of Patch 6.21, we have recovered followships up to the maximum number (10) in advance, and in Patch 6.28, we have also restored characters with more than 10 fellowships.

If you have exceeded the maximum number (10) of fellowships you can join due to the data recovery, some of the excess fellowships will not appear in the list. You will receive a message when you log in if there are excess fellowships, and we kindly ask you to leave the unwanted fellowships to adjust them to be under the maximum number. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this.


■Data recovery for other cases

We will continue to carefully consider recovery process for the following case given it is a community group players may only join one at a time, and the complexity of the recovery process.

・PvP teams that were disbanded
