Hi, I have been playing one character but recently thought about making a new one but I don't seem to be able to on Balmung. Is this always the case or do windows open for creating a character? I looked on a website and it said it is congested which I don't really understand how that is defined for a server. Is this a word used to say creation for multiple characters is closed?
Can I make multiple characters here?

It's locked to new chars 90% of the time due to high population, might try at like 5 am

10-26-2022, 11:53 PMMistakeNotBalmung is currently a Congested server. While it is Congested, nobody can create a character on that server or transfer a character to it. Changes to server status can happen during maintenance (and only then), and there is always a notice on the Lodestone and in the launcher when there has been changes in server status. (So no point in even trying to create a character there until it changes status.)Quote:

For non-Congested servers it can also be the case that character creation is temporarily blocked when the server is too busy. This can change every few minutes, but usually you are best off trying to create a character during non-busy times - like early in the morning.
