Suggestion: Player Surveys

For how many times we have to deal with heavy-handed changes abruptly and out of the blue, it is just about paramount that we finally implement a modern feature: Player Surveys.

Most popular online games these days send out frequent surveys out to their players to ask the many things that you tell us to spam the forums with feedback about. Player opinions about this and that, suggestions, feedback, how they use certain features, etc... It would be so simple to email the player base one simple survey every once and awhile than making use of a forum that a majority do not even visit for one reason or another. This would also help pool together responses from all over the world in one place! One survey that reflects everyone's opinions rather than focusing on what one side of the world thinks, divided by language barriers.

Please consider this! Please consider asking player opinions in a way that makes sense! Rather than searching through countless threads of things that might not even be finding their way to the devs in a meaningful way.
