Stuck at Urth's Font Fatal Error 11000002

Steps:
1. Completed Urth's Font Quest. Whenever I go to Urth's Font (green check mark over O-App-Pesi) and get near there (over water or land), will drop with Fatal Error in Direct IX 11000002. At first dropped when started cut scene; now will drop within a few seconds of getting near O-App-Pesi. Sometimes I have time enough to get away; other times drops immediately.
