So far I haven't been able to find the setting to make it so I don't accidentally target an ally or anything else when I'm just trying to adjust my camera. Is there a way to turn off targeting with right click in general? So like, I target things with left, then interact with right? Its kind of a big problem for me right now, cause I lose aggro a lot, especially in bigger fights with more people.

There is not, unfortunately. You can disable clickselecting yourself, and you can disable clickselecting certain entity types while a filter key is held, but there is no way to disable rightclickselecting altogether other than programming your mouse button to press and hold the filter key whenever you are holding the right mouse button; and I imagine this is probably more cumbersome than you'd like.

That's extremely disappointing tbh. It wouldn't seem like such a big feature to have, so I'm pretty surprised it's not a toggle of some kind. I need to readjust camera a lot, or my mouse would be all over the far reaches of my mouse pad. This is a pretty big issue, and is gonna make raids hard for me I expect. I just bought 3 months of sub, but now I'm wondering if that was such a good idea, as this is gonna be the bane of my existence in any group content. Ik mods are frowned upon, but is there at least a mod somewhere I could install to cater to this feature?

This has been a problem for the whole decade this game has been around. It's deeply frustrating and something that SE hasn't addressed. They were asked if they could address it in the live letter a few days and they think it might be possible to so if they don't forget, hopefully they will.
