Most impressive mounts in your opinion?

Simple question; what mounts do you guys like to pull out to impress your friends? What mounts do you consider to be the best bragging rights rewards?

I've been thinking about this one since I saw it yesterday.
My answer is that I don't find any of the FFXIV mounts to be that impressive. There's not a single mount I'd go out of my way to farm for or obtain in general. Some mounts drop into your hands while just playing and that's how I get my mounts.
The mounts I use myself are mainly Ginga and Raigo (if I'm not in a Chocobo fase). The main reason for those are that they have NO glow effects and maintain the same style and feel on the ground as in the air.

All in all I think people use mounts they like more than they use ones for showing off.

The vast majority of mounts are easy to get so there's no point in bragging about having one.

The few mounts locked behind long grinds are less than impressive looking for the most part. The players who have them rarely use them, preferring other mounts they think look better.

Mounts really aren't the way to impress others in this game but if you fancy yourself a rare mount collector, you can go to sites like Lalachievements to find lists of the rarest.

Keep in mind some of the mounts near the top of the list are new this expansion and will start dropping in rank as more players farm them as the expansion continues.

Can't you do Gavel skip in A8S with a full BLU party now?

If im riding a mount to flex/showoff(so... almost never) im probly pulling out my Night Pegassus. Its a little flashy without being too much and its a bit hard to earn or expensive to buy. But Jojoya is right, mounts arent really the way to impress others.

I wouldn't know. That was my final fight shortly after the 70 cap and we still had to go through gavel. Maybe after the stat squish it can be skipped, but there's still a lot you have to do right to get there.

i only pull out my "impress others" mounts when i'm showing off to a new player friend haha... but otherwise yeah. just ride a mount you like lol.

Mostly when I hangout with friends or FC mates, they always impressed with ADS balls :)

Probably Pteranodon? If only because of how grindy Hand of Creation is to get?
