Suggestion: Please bring back the old Adventurer Plate / Portrait System...

As the title suggests, the new Adventurer Plate, or rather, the Portrait system is absolutely AWFUL compared to the BETA. The fact that it's only tied to your Gearsets and what your Glamour plate your Gearset HAS is just terrible.

Not only can we not Import our old Beta plate to the new system, but we can't just create a new portrait and add it to whatever Gearset we want.

How is the official release more restricted than the beta...?

I don't even want to make new Portraits anymore because I will lose the one I've had since beta, which is tbh.. my best one, and I won't be able to go back to it, or recreate it the way I want.

I can't change my outfit in my portrait unless I completely remove the Glamour Plate from my Gearset, and it just kills the creativity...

Please revert or "redo" the current Adventurer Plate/Portrait system to allow more free access to glams, and free slots that are NOT bound to your Gearsets.

You can import one gearset's portrait into another gearset.

Once you've unlocked every class and job there are 47 gearset slots and only 31 jobs and noncombat classes, which leaves 16 gearsets to use purely for portrait changes if you want.

You can use one of your gearsets as a "current outfit" gearset with no glamour plate link. This command saves your current gear to gearset slot 1 and sets that gearset as active: /gs save 1



The current plate/portrait system is mostly fine outside of the glaring inability to import a gearset portrait into an Adventurer Plate or the Adventure Plate portrait into a gearset portrait.

I'm aware this is a "work around" but it's way too much work for what could have just been a simple + button, like they had before.

And I know you can import settings from one gearset to another, but that's...basically pretty useless imo, and you still can't import your BETA portrait to any of them, so it's redundant as well for me anyway.

I'm still using my BETA Portrait because it stays regardless of the class I pick.

This new system is just overly complicated tbh compared to what the BETA was.

The old Adventurer Plate portrait system was really, really wonky. I honestly prefer the new one.

The old system was a giant pain in the ass. The new version is super easy, I just set one for each gear set and I'm good. It's especially useful in PvP where I used to have to update my instant portrait constantly which was very annoying.

How about we have a mix of the two? You can't honestly tell me the portrait system we have now is perfect. I just want to change the portrait on my Adventurer Plate but that would mean deleting the old one. Why?

My biggest problem with this thing is that it keeps reseting every time because you do the smallest chnage on your gear. it is so annoying.
