[What if]there's new race, Yoshi-P changes his mind

What if Yoshi-P changes his mind and add new race, what race would it be?
I, personally, think it would be like beast-humanoid race (and it would kill the dev team lmao)

ps. I know that Yoshi-P mentioned there will be no more new races in the future of FF14 but the daydreaming is not prohibited (sorry for bad Eng)

Personally I dont think they'll ever consider adding new races anymore due to how much issues they have maintaining the new ones introduced in ShB.

However, I would love to see them adding new clans to some of the established races like Garlean Hyurs, Othardian Roegadyn etc

YES!!! Not really new races necessarily, but definitely expand the racial variants so that we don't have "umbral and astral". That way we get to have proper Garleans, people can play as Gosetsu, and who knows, Raen Au Ra can be a bit more defined than just "the generic foreign Au Ra". Or you know, the half- races like Hilda.

On second thought, NO. I know people will demand for Skitty on Wailord action if that last idea ever passes. That topic is cursed and I'm sorry for opening Pandora's Box, I did NOT think that through

He expressed interest in doing a reptilian beast race before if he were to add any further new races, though whether the playerbase shares that interest is another matter entirely.

Please another small cute race using the lalafell skeleton as a base.

I would be SO HAPPY if they released Loporits or the race I've always wanted in XIV... MOOMBAS! Lalafell cute moombas.. but really loporits please T.T

Please please pretty please!!! We have lots of human tall races and only 1 small cute race T.T

If no lalafell small race, then of course we gotta go with Burmecians like Freya!

...wait he said he'd make a reptilian race? Where? o,o I'd take it. If done well and didn't look hyperrealistic iguanas like Argonians do, I'd actually be interested.

I'd prefer no new races beyond what we have and female hrothgar for the foreseeable future, until the current races are given more attention, in particular viera/hrothgar. Even then, I'd prefer it be at a time where an additional race's implementation wouldn't require compromising other aspects of the game. The only 'race' I personally would have liked previously was a mixed race like Hilda: half elezen/hyur.

Indeed, the first priority at the moment must be getting both Hrothgar and Viera up to speed with everyone else. Any future racial additions *must* use head shapes that have already been fitted to various hairstyles and helmets so that we don't see a repeat of what I can only describe as an unacceptable state of affairs that is still ongoing.

+1 to half-elves, Garleans, and ones of that nature.

I mean it could happen. But by that token a lot of things could happen.

The game is expected to go on for another decade. 10 years is a long time. We very well could get another race down the line.
