I recently moved my game files to a new drive, but didn't back up my HUD settings via the backup tool. I have the ADDON.DAT file saved of my old HUD settings, but every time I try to place that file in the new location my game files are saved, it doesn't change my HUD settings and they're set to default.
Is there any way for me to get my old HUD settings to work?
Typically I bring everything across from the old folder, that way everything is transferred UI, binds, macros..and no guessing what is what. You also might need to make sure you're in the correct FFVIV_CHR folder, they'll be sorted by creation date. Also cut and paste the contents of the destination folder to the desktop, in case there's a mishap. Never delete anything ever until you're sure
