A change to party finder options for people that have seen enrage. (A2C)

Just a suggestion to add another option to the duty finder.

Duty Complete
Duty Incomplete
Aim To Clear (Must have seen enrage to select).

Nothing more frustrating than having A2C parties and people with zero experience and have not seen enrage decide to sign up for a free carry.

I strongly, strongly doubt they have data stored on whether you've seen the enrage cast in a fight before. Whether you've cleared or not, yes, that they have; we can see the checkboxes in the Duty Finder on the duties we've completed. But whether you've seen enrage?

Beyond that, how do you even define that? Do you have to have been alive when the enrage hit, and thus killed by it? Does it count if you've died 17 times and are on the floor when it happens? Etc.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I get the desire, I just don't know that it's practical.

I would like to see some sort of progress checkpoint system for sure.

It gets particularly bad in checkpoint fights. It's really common for people to trap into phase 2 progs with basically no knowledge, simply because they know people will have sunk cost from passing the door boss and will be essentially captive to teach them.

There are people who have completed the duty who still don't know what they're doing, so this wouldn't really help anything. It's easier to get carried to enrage than it is to get to clear.

This comment is more true than people realize.

I've seen heavens legends that can't even do P5S and it makes me wonder how many people just buy carries nowdays.

Technically in these fights you could see enrage at 100% boss health if you really wanted to spend the time to do that

I would like to see it record the % health the boss is at when the first player death happens. So if the boss gets to 70% and a player other than yourself dies, that is your progression. Although it might not be your fault, you might have killed them by doing a mechanic wrong or not using reprisal/addle/feint. Then we could restrict party finder to people who have got to 70% or any other point cleanly.

That's a lot of work that could be solved by people just being honest with themselves. :p People have good days and they have bad days. Someone could get to that point and then they end up in another group, start getting tired and screwing up. You're back where you started.

The problem is people are not honest in NA and they also don't read descriptions in NA.

To be fair, we're not always great about writing descriptions in NA PF.

Most P6S parties say "C1 timers" but plenty never say whether they're doing North -> South in order of your debuff timers (8s -> 12s -> 16s -> 20s) or in the order you bait (20s -> 8s -> 12s -> 16s); I've seen parties where one half of the group assumed one, the other assumed the other, and there were some Cachexia memes until someone raises a hand and goes, "Uhm, are we actually all doing the same strat?" ("We're doing Hector timers." "THAT DOESN'T NARROW IT DOWN, HE MADE VIDEOS FOR BOTH VARIANTS.")

P7S parties will say "JP braindead Harvest" but I have been shown three different strat diagrams for the Harvest trio and been told that each one is "the JP braindead strat".

(Personally, at this point I just try to ask "so, you said 'timers'; which one are you doing, with 8s north or 20s north?" or "You say JP braindead Harvest, but I've been shown at least three different sets by that name. Is this the one with the Io tethers in War's Harvest on the same platform (a.k.a. Inumaru), or the one with the Io tethers spread on the bridge opposite the platform (a.k.a. far tethers)?")
