Fix the Fat Cat Hood

I like the outfit but the hood is really crappy for the price you pay.
It removes any hair and looks like they jus cut chunks out the side of your face as well as the top of your head. Is it just me or is this really poor quality?
I think we should be able to see our fringe if we have one.

Either make the outfit cheaper or fix the hood's poor quality.

No outfit has ever allowed the fringe to show without the back of the hair also being visible. The system is clearly set up to only divide the hair model into top and bottom, not front and back.

It affects every hood in the game, and why a lot of them have some kind of tight-fitting wimple or second layer underneath (and why white mage hoods get accused of looking like nuns).

That said, there is definitely something odd going on inside the hood with bits of black something, I think to try to have a loose hood while also concealing the lack of hair at the sides of the head.

Also, you need to report visual glitches on the In-Game Bugs subforum. General Discussion is more of a "shouting into the void" – it might get likes but it won't get it fixed.

Now you mention it I cant think of any hood that I can see my hair from off the top of my head...
That said I still think if you want to charge for the hood it should have a decent quality and to me that means showing some of the hair at the sides etc so it does not look like your face got sliced off.
This hood really does just look terrible as it is rn. Anyways, ty for the input. I'll pop this in bugs.

It's not about charging vs not charging, though – all signs indicate that their system is simply not set up to handle adding it, unless you want a built-in hairstyle like Krile's hood.

The hood also doesn't even align with the coat. It doesn't really feel like it was designed as a part of the set...

This is the best Square can manage with making a separate hood...
Maybe they should just give a second version of the chest with the hood up.

Yes, it does work on hroth.

I personally hate hoods and hats that remove hair so I generally don't bother with them (and I wish they wouldn't do that to begin with), but since I see you're a Viera player I'll say that if it didn't remove the hair, you probably wouldn't be able to wear it at all since SE doesn't usually make "hair-friendly" hats compatible with Hrothgar/Viera.

I mean....they could have dragged the neck of the hood to align with your neck sort of instead of leaving it in the air like that.
