20524 Error... Really?

Third time today. Third time reinstalling this dam game.

I don't care what updates you do down the road but have a bloody recovery or checkfiles like you did in XI... it's been almost 2 years.

The game is currently in maintenance for a patch. Way to research before raging.

Oh I've searched it. It's an update error and it usually is a corrupted .exe file for the game. Only solution ANYONE has gotten to work is re-installing >.>

Of course the game is maintainence mode. Unlike some twits I read the lodestone and know this; what I don't get is why they can have a checkfiles function rather than just poop out.

Have you switched your music .dats around?

Is there anyone who hasn't updated yet that has original exe files?

I do wish that XIV had a file check. It's useful for a whole host of reasons. Not gamebreaking, but it should be put in.
