Data Recovery for Disbandment/Dismissals that occurred with Group Content (Sep. 12)

We would like to share details regarding the data recovery we are planning for the following issue that was addressed in the Sep. 1, 2022 Hotfixes.

■Issue details

There were cases where the Cross-world Linkshell, PvP team, or fellowship was disbanded if the owner (Cross-world Linkshell/fellowship: Master, PvP team: Team leader) had no more subscription days on their account and their character was withdrawn.

■Data recovery performed on fellowships in Patch 6.21

As of Patch 6.21, and due to the time sensitive nature of the issue, we have performed data recovery for characters that were dismissed from their fellowship.

We have restored characters that were dismissed from their fellowships between Patch 6.2 (Aug. 23, 2022) and Patch 6.2 Hotfixes (Sep. 1, 2022) to their respective fellowships as much as possible. However, we were unable to restore data for the cases below due to difficulties. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this and ask for your understanding.

・The fellowship had reached maximum capacity (1000 characters)
・Data recovery was not possible due to frequent invitations and dismissals occurring within the fellowship.

* As it is difficult to differentiate between dismissals that occurred as a result of the issue and those where a player left on their own volition, we have restored all characters. If you had left a fellowship at your own will, we kindly ask you to leave once more. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this.

In addition, we have confirmed several cases where a character had joined other fellowships and the data recovery would result in them exceeding the maximum number (10) of fellowships they can join. For these characters, we have restored data up to the 10 fellowship limit. We are considering the possibility of addressing this situation from a game system perspective in a future patch. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for more time to review this.

■Data recovery for other cases

Data recovery for the following cases are being planned for a future patch given the complexity of the data involved which requires careful assessment and handling.

・Cross-world linkshells that were disbanded
・PvP teams that were disbanded
・Fellowships that were disbanded

We will announce the schedule for this as soon as it is confirmed. We kindly ask for your patience while we work on this.
