Island Sanctuary - Please include summoning bell, orchestration, mail box, telecrystal, and
auction house.

Teleporting to one area to npc warp to next area seems like a waste. I'm sure your trying to maintain the rpg element, but really? If there were the case all teleporting would be eliminated and only chocobo travel allowed.

This also goes for bozjan, elemental, etc.

the place wasn't made for you to afk and live in, so all those things (minus the orchestrion which is already there) are not necessary.

You don't need to be a dev to know the reasoning why these things will never be added to Islands.

Island instances are limited and on a timer. The last thing they will ever consider is adding summoning bells or anything that will encourage players to fill the server for as long as possible.

This is my thought as well. Until SE is ready to have a proper go at instanced housing for all (ya know, without locking people in/out of houses, servers imploding, hamsters dying, etc), I really can't see them adding a MB, retainer bell, aesthetician, mail box....or any of the other bells and whistles that come along with housing. I would absolutely take them all in a heartbeat, but for better or worse, that doesn't seem to be what they're aiming for with IS at this point.

Now, would having the MB & retainer bell outside by the aetheryte be a decent enough compromise? I doubt they would do that, but hey, who knows. :3

They're not exactly on a timer. I've afk'd (though moved just enough to avoid being kicked out) in one for a full 24 hours while doing other things. There's just an afk timer to kick you to avoid too many instances being up at once.

I thought you guys hated WoW Garrisons. Because that's precisely what a garrison had..

Only ever made it to like level 5 in WoW. Are garrisons anything like GW2's special sanctuary/lounges where you have all your crafting stations, trading post, bank, menders and a bunch of other functions in one spot?

I wouldn't expect them to add those things to the island itself, but a retainer bell in Moraby would be nice. (And one in Quarrymill for PotD too.) There are bells in Mor Dhona so they're not functionally restricted to being in large cities.

Eureka and Bozja indicate that aetherytes inside instances are possible, but I don't know if it would be more straining with multiple instances versus one big multiplayer one.
