Hey just coming back to the game and I was wondering. If I bought the game at launch and registered/played it for a bit. Can I still get legacy status by starting now and playing for the 90days before 2.0?

Yes!♪
If you purchase 90 days right off the bat you'll get your legacy email confirmation within a day~
i thought you had to start payiong by May 31 if you hadnt your not gonna be a legacy member.
You had to of started paying by May 31 to get legacy.
It's still on the lodestone front page.....Quote:
Requirements for Legacy Campaign Eligibility (5/21/2012)
We have received questions from the community regarding when they need to begin playing FINAL FANTASY XIV if they wish to qualify for the Legacy Campaign.
In order to fulfill the requirements for the Legacy Campaign, a player must register his/her copy of the game no later than Thursday, May 31, 2012, and have subscribed for a minimum of 90 days beyond the conclusion of your free trial period.
Information regarding the transition from the current game to version 2.0 will be announced on the Lodestone in the future.
Well the conclusion from the last thread about this was that you only had to register before the date, but could actually buy the 90 days after may 31. The discussion is here http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...egacy+campaign
On a similiar topic, if I am currently on a 30 day subscription, is there anyway to change to 90 day and pay right now? Cause the only way I see it is if I change from 30 days to 90 days it's not gonna charge me the money untill the 30 days are up? Anyway to get past that?
Edit: That thread does not contain any confirmation from any developer/community manager though.
@shumakiso
I'm fairly certain that you can get legacy if you pay for a 90 day subscription. All the other people saying you must have registered by March 31st, obviously didn't read that you registered your account at launch. As long as you subscribe for 90 days before the start of 2.0 beta, you should be fine.
Well I changed to a 90 day subcription while I was on a 30 day subscription. I had to wait for my 30 days subscription to end, before I could start and be charged for my new 90 day subscription. So I am guessing no? Then again I didn´t look for a way to get past that, as I didn´t mind. Can I ask why you want to do this?
