Character Creation and 2.0

When we get ported over to 2.0 will we be able to choose a new race/sex or will we have to play the same character we started with in 1.xx?

How is that going to work will it be kind of like a "rebirth" of some sorts?

The only thing that still hasn't been confirmed is being able to change your name for 2.0

Every player gets to re-create their own character. I think this has been stated multiple times.
