Give Seigan back instead of Kaiten
The virgin Kaiten:
- Comes up at fixed points in the rotation
- No gameplay nuance
- Button bloat
- 25 gauge
- Easily eliminated via consolidation into Iaijutsu, the only thing you used it on anyway
The chad Seigan:
- Proper usage depends on boss timeline
- Incentivizes using personal mitigation
- Forces optimization and forethought
- 15 gauge
- Samurai confirmed 75% more braindead since its removal
The verdict is clear. You shouldn't want Kaiten back; any true Samurai player should be clamoring for the return of Seigan instead.

I've come to miss Seigan far, far more than I miss Kaiten. I just want Seigan back, SE can keep Kaiten. Can we have Ageha back as well? Please?

Kaiten is 20 gauge.
There's always nuance to choice. Buff next cast or hagakure and stab.
Consolidating an ogcd into a gcd would leave us in the same stilted flow 6.1 left us in, please no.

Seigan. I still miss. We can have both. We had both. I hardly used third eye this xpac since there was nearly no reason to. 10 kenki doesn't make a difference in normal content to care. It could literally replace shinten when third eye procs and there would be nothing lost. See the various threads of suggestions, I wasn't the only one to think of that.

Seigan is still here in form of 10 useless resource for popping shield. Which is funny, i heard seigan was barely dps up vs spamming shinten in shb but now you always lose 100 potency if you fail it.

Also kaiten is the true chad ability. Only chads hit their buttons right and not fail +50%.

Yeah I think it was like a 1 or 2 potency per kenki gain

I'd love Seigan back so I know I used my Third Eye correctly. The lack of feedback is boring and I'm not gonna stare at my kenki gauge for every raidwide

Exactly! There's just no proper indication anymore on screen aside from the kenki gauge which the previous patch made worthless. Half the time you pop Third Eye, you won't know if it disappeared because of the short duration or the skill actually proc.

It didn't matter to me if seigan was a gain or a loss. It felt good to use. It was a satisfying button to press while you continue about your rotation unimpeded.

Ageha should stay dead. It never worked properly. The server was bad at awarding bonus Kenki for using it to get killing blows, which was the entire point of it. The animation was neat but we don't need the ability. On the other hand, we do need Kaiten, because the Kenki gauge and associated spenders don't really flow well without it, you just spam Shinten/Kyuten and use Guren/Senei on CD. In both cases the only thought involved is how many targets you currently have.

I do want Seigan back but only as a transforming button attached to Third Eye so it doesn't clutter the bars. However we don't need Seigan like we need Kaiten.

wasn't Seigan 15 Kenki !? Anyway Third Eye's other trigger, merciful eyes was.. quite .. well okay it was shit but at least it was a free selfheal! I have the Feeling we gonna need Shadowbringers Classic, I miss my 100k+ Crits!
