Once again new jobs did not get new glowing weapons.

A fae weapon would have been amazing on Sage, but Sage and Reaper can't even use them. :C

It's just so depressing that ever since Shadowbringers this trend STILL continues. It's like they are dead set on doing this from now on. :/

I remember back in Heavensward and Stormblood that this wasn't a trend. Every new set of jobs got every set of craftable weapon. You just didn't get the relics, which was annoying, but not nearly as bad as being restricted from every other craftable weapon type. What if I want to be a moogle with a moogle weapon? Can't do that on any Shadowbringers or Endwalker job.

The four lords? Nope. Don't even bother. You can't use them, no matter how much that glowing effect you desire for a glam, it isn't going to happen. They did update Shinryu for Dancer, and Gunbreaker, but not for Sage, or Reaper yet. We also got the Heavens weapons set for the later jobs, but its likely the next expac will come back and leave whatever new jobs there are behind. It stinks.

When all the fae stuff came out I just assumed all the jobs got one. That's messed up.

I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed.

That trend will likely continue as they keep adding jobs, expanding that workload.

Smol indie company plz understand.

But for real didn't they just hire around 300 new roles across the Enix team? Sure not all of them will be working on 14 but even so, there is literally no reason why they can't make new models for a change rather than just re-skinning old ones.

Unless all the good members of staff are working on a new game..

I was kind of expecting this but when I saw how beautiful the Fae weapons are I felt bad, especially considering SGE doesn't have a single good-looking weapon

Yea this is getting old. Hopefully the weapon design contest delivers something good for sage but who knows how long those will take to appear in game.

This is the same thing that happened with DNC and GNB during Shadowbringers, why yall shocked it's happening again with SGE and RPR? Wouldn't be shocked if the trend continues and whatever we get in 7.0 is excluded while SGE and RPR get theirs.

Because until ShB the precedent was to get all primal weapons in the new classes level range.
RDM and SAM in SB even got lvl 50 crafted (and ofc the normal drops without glow) weapons. In fact I think for the vast majority of time I'd used the moogle sword on RDM myself.
