Samurai Buff
Samurai is in a pretty rough spot in Crystal Conflict, especially with regards to the other melees. And it comes to two things: their Limit Break is a noob stomper, but really really bad vs good players; and they have to cast for like 4 seconds to lay in their burst.
I would be okay with the way the limit break works, if they had a bit better ability to lay in the dps normally. And I would be okay with the cast times if, again, they had a bit better ability to lay in their dps.
To that end, I think one or both of the following changes should be made:
Midare Setsugekka should ignore Guard (like Drill does).
Ogi (and Kaeshi) Namikiri should not get a 50% damage buff for single target hits, but instead ignore guard for single target hits.
This would give Samurai some much needed ability to actually hurt their target, as well as a niche in the melee dps ranks.

I don't think I can honestly agree with the proposed changes for the simple fact that samurai has an aoe bind and a single target stun in their kit

Sam already does a lot of damage and has an gamechanging LB. Even if you know how to deal with it and mark the Sam there is still four teammates that get killed... Any buffs should at least cause the LB to be less dramatic. And if only noobs get catched by those LBs this sacrifice should be an easy one ;)

I agree SAM needs a rework but I don't agree with the changes your going with
I can back midare if you can ignore if they are debuff with chiten but other then that
Ogi not needed to do that its ment to be more AOE then single target
making then ignore guard would remove skill and put you on the hot seat even more then just your LB is ready
You want a happy medium where you can be a presence in the battle but have to limit yourself as to not bring the whole teams ire
I don't think SAMs LB is broken in a strength stance but I also think that it is dumb its like DRK in PVE with TBN so go that that's all you really have
No one needs to cry and say they have a stun or they do AOE dmg or 16k midare with purify
No one really cares about a SAM until they have their LB if you died to a SAM its usually cause you got caught out or LB
Not because you 1v1 or 2v1 and SAM just out played you and if you did I worry for you
but like I said I'm not a fan of how SAM is as a whole

SAM is basically a pseudo-tank that wants to play on point. It's very bad at chasing kills compared to say, MNK or NIN. I hope SE leans more into this instead of just making it play more like other jobs.

This game needs less guard ignoring abilities.
Guard ignoring abilities have zero counterplay.

In my personal opinion.
I think the old samurai nerfs just need to be reverted.
Return to us our 3 second stun, to allow us longer to get our combo off.
Return out 50% dmg reduction from our Hissatsu: Chiten
and POSSIBLY give our Hissatsu: Soten the debuff Hissatsu: Chiten appliesm which is, Kuzushi to our targeted dash target.
I believe that'd make up for our lack of survival, and the fact our main set of skills is big burst windows with cast times.
Giving the dash the debuff would help us with out single target as well with our basic rotation skill to help us do more than be wet noodles while our big burst window is down.
I feel our initial nerfs were silly and unwarrented. As you see now the other melees kits outweigh ours mostly. But thats just me!
