Question about sending a copy of the game

I recently bought another copy of ff14 for a friend but I realized that it was a na copy and he lives in the eu. is there any way to make it work or am i just sol

you are hooped. perhaps you can find some way to trade an NA code for an EU one with someone.

You can contact the retailer to see if they will refund it. The Square Enix store has done this for expansions in my experience, but other retailers might not.
