First Vote Abandon in years

**Spoilerish Abyssos Raids**

Had my first party vote abandon in years on this game due to healers constantly being spawn killed before getting off one hit, even though I voted no believing we could do it.

I myself OOM'ing constantly on RDM from the bodies piling up. This is more than just 'new content git gud' moments. I've never seen mechanics in the last 20+ raids in last few expansions send people to death (P7).

Systems in place to be overpunishing. Follow up DoT's on hits that take out 90% of HP. I have hats off to healers this patch, honestly. And cringe when my MP gets to < 1k on Red Mage because I can no longer support them.

Was CC locked in P6 so much that half my party could die and I was unable to rez them for almost 20 seconds.

If you’re still having trouble with the raid, try it via Party Finder, possibly with everyone having some better gear, materia, and food. I believe in you!

Managed to finish with PuGs (the thought of having to premade casual content is irking)

Saw purple drop down aoes that you cannot avoid hit me for 40k of 52k hp. Raids are definitely overtuned atm. (585 required, am 597 RDM)

The four rounds of punishment for being hit is particularly distasteful

-90% of health gone
-1 stack of invuln
-DoT
-Follow up raid wide AoE on several fights.

Several moments im spamming vercure while being upped with Medica 2 etc and still just die because my armor class is crap as RDM and still die to the room wide at 75%.

I still get off 6-7 rezzes on avg. before going down at all but I particularly hate watching healers rez then die before a global goes off.

Annoying.

I don’t mind tough hurdles, it is optional content and it is at the tail end of a expansion. But man I haven’t seen Vote Abandon since Rabanastre back in 4.2! That was 4 years ago!

God forbid mechs in a fight to the death with mutating montrosities have a modicum of lethality

it was challenging , but for good . they will learn eventually or with better gear , or just for them queue as dps to learn mechanics . i was from some point constantly dead as well , because i didnt get heal or i didnt have enough max hp :D but its fun . vote abandon is not a rude move or something .

P7 really made me question if I knew how to heal correctly at times lol. Really it all came down to 1 or 2 people in the party outright ignoring mechanics. Having a RDM friend who had already cleared really helped as they sort of explained the issues from wipe to wipe. I will say it's truly harder than most of the content that has been coming out as far as in the "Normal" realm of difficulty. Took about 5 tries but we got it figured out, I'm always glad for a random challenge that feels rewarding...

I think it's more of a comparative thing. Most content as of lately ***In my opinion*** has been sort of easy, while this patch (between the Trial and these raids) has sort of ramped up. Caught me off guard that's for sure.
