Please make Balmung a congested world and lock it down like the Firmament.

Title says it all. It's impossible to go to the Island Sanctuary because of this many people.
There's a 24/7 queue, even at dead hours 1AM~7AM, it's way too full with all the new characters and Wanderers and Travelers both. Ul'dah, Limsa and even Gridania are a laggy mess.
Please block entry from Travelers and Wanderers and disable the creation of new characters.

Or use the free server transfer to a fresh server so Balmung gets less congested. But that won't happen ofc and i wonder why, could it be cause Balmung is the ERP Hotspot of the game and the server with the worst housing market cause every second player wants to open a brothel...naaah that can't be it!

World visiting is also a thing, you can very well open any type of venue you want in other servers.

Funny because the only people who will cry about this are Balmung house owners who want to show their friends their place and people (wanderers and travelers!) who will have to move their ERP spot elsewhere.

Balmung was in a really tough place even before the datacenter/server travel. On a new preferred server you wouldn't have any troubles is all i am saying.

People are staying way too long way too much and way too many inside their houses and apartments on balmung, way more than on any other server. For...well...reasons i guess! So instead of this futile protest maybe you should persuade your fellow balmung players to emote more on each other in the open streets again, that would most certainly do more than banning the travel. xD

Balmung was at it's peak when it was closed off before, so I agree. And lock transfers too.

Even though when visiting, it was probably 99% Travelers. Locking it would keep the sickness out actually.

Square wants the servers to be balanced, if there is pressure inducing people to move then people will move to balance out the servers, it’s why square keeps housing limited, it’s their biggest incentive to get people to move to quiet and new servers

If balmung is too busy then move away from it, not upend the entire system because of one server
