Sudden Lag & Packet Loss
I downloaded the 6.2 update on 8/23 and started playing around 5pm PDT until midnight with no issues.
I logged into the game on 8/24 around 7pm PDT and noticed small lag making it impossible to play with others. After troubleshooting and testing for packet loss - I saw the recommendation to reset my router. I reset my router around 10pm. The lag disappeared.
I logged into the game today on 8/25 around 5pm PDT and was fine. I logged out at 5:30 and returned at 8pm. The lag was returned. I tried resetting my router and it did not fix it.

I've been facing the exact same problem. Will play the game in the morning and afternoon and face no problems, but once 7/8PM rolls around, it's rubber banding everywhere.
I'm also located in CA and have the same ISP.

Same here. Everything before 7/8pm is no problem, but then it's rubber banding/disconnecting. PC user here.
My static raids at 8pm. Another member in the static is also having an issue with it. We are both officially screwed until this gets resolved.
My static member and I are both in Southern California with Frontier.
I submitted a report as well.
Edit; If anyone speaks with a Frontier representative to see if they are aware of this, please drop a comment!
Also, if Frontier says it's not on their end, a test can be done as well.

I am also in this same boat. Southern California with Frontier. I have noticed a similar pattern of packet loss in previous weeks, but never as often and consistent as this since the patch.

Same issue except all times of the day, east coast, Verizon Fios. Reset router, reinstalled the game, wired, wireless, doesn't matter. Called Verizon and they told me to kick rocks, it's not them.
So I just did some more testing on my girlfriends PS5, who is having no issue whatsoever, and my main still is impacted. However I logged into my alt I never use, and works perfectly fine with no loss. I'm so aggrevated and confused.

Last update, but my gf randomly whipped out a "restore your character setting and general settings from the login screen" and it 100% is working right now. I hope this helps, and I also hope you've backed up recently cause I have so much crap to fix, HUD, gearsets, etc lol.

I have the same problem. It only happens on rush hour so after 6pm PST which unfortunately is when I raid. I logged in at 4:30pm and it was fine but as soon as rush hr hits then I start lagging like crazy with serious rubberbanding issues. Only happens on this game, I have tried WoW, GW2, FFXI, and SWTOR.
ISP: Frontier.

THANK YOU for posting this - it's good to know we are not the only ones affected. I am in the same boat as everyone - SoCal, Frontier, intense lag in the evenings since this week.
I contacted Frontier and they confirmed they are not able to do anything from their end.
I also went through the link provided by OP and submitted the information SE might be able to use for investigation. Hoping for the best!

Same thing has been happening to me. Everything runs perfectly in the morning and afternoon but once it hits around 5pm to 6pm PST the game starts to lag. I live in South Cali well.
My ISP is Verizon.

Heeey! Let's keep this train rolling, also in SoCal, Frontier is the ISP. Speed test says down and up is good, and ping is good. Even tried the traceroute from Square themselves and that seemed to work well. I'm on PC too, dunno if people mentioned what platform they play on.
Maybe I'll do the hud/settings reset mentioned a few posts ago and see if that does anything?
