Game crashes instantly upon opening, same error msg.

Hi. I dled the patch and played all of yesterday. Today I cannot get on because when I press play on the launcher it instantly spits out the same error message and crashes. I updated my drivers/restarted but nothing has changed. My version of the game is through steam, and I tried a method where you close steam with task manager before pressing play and that got me through once, but I crashed a minute later trying to log in anyway.
