Crafter's blue tools

Why they are the same ilvl as crafted tools now? If I remember, they were always 10 ilvls above crafted versions because you can't meld them, that's why they were higher ilvl to sort of equalize them to crafted ones for people who don't want to bother with crafting and pentamelding. But now they are the same ilvls for some reason. I used to get blue crafter tools for jobs I have soul crystal on but now it seems they are useless.

EDIT: nvm, Im blind. Just noticed they have a melding slot now.
