Update the house sharing function

There is a vast housing shortage and while you can share your private house with others, people are reluctant to give too much access in the fears that they'd lose furniture when the sharing stops... or someone taking off with them...

So my suggestion is to:

- Raise the amount of people you can share a house with to 5.
- When you stop sharing a house, the items you placed into the house are sent to you so you don't lose them.
- While 'decorating' people you share the house with can put stuff in storage, they cannot put it in their inventory unless its their own item.
- Add an option so you can choose how many item slots each person may use "or" auto share the amount of item slots with the amount of people using the house.
(so if the max slot is 300 and you share with 5 people (so 6 counting yourself) then everyone would get 50 item slots).

All that is left is communicate on who does what part of the house in terms of decorations. That way a certain form of peace of mind can be established knowing you had a part in the decorations without any of the risks.

The game doesn't seem to track who "owns" an item. It seems to track what player is allowed access to where the item is stored. If that storage space (house, Company Chest, etc.) is shared between players, then anyone with access can withdraw the item.

I also doubt it could be set to allocate portions of a shared storage to specific players. The closest you'd be able to get is something like the Company Chest with tabs, where access to a tab can be assigned to a rank as opposed to a specific player.

The only thing I see on your list as being a possibility is increasing the tenant count.

If there is really no other way then I'll keep this limitation into consideration and try to come up with something else.

None of these are a problem. If you don't trust the people you share your house with to not steal from you, then don't share your house with them. I want to keep the ability to move around untradable furniture by putting it in storage.

Who owns an item would take quite the amount of ressources that could be spendt on other stuff instead, the ward system currently is taking too much already as it is.

I can't say I like the idea as this would seem to destroy the ability for one to "hire" a decorator for gil or kind. That is something a lot of people do enjoy doing on both sides.

Plus if the share was not optional... It would also mean - for roleplayers who roleplay getting married and owning a home - that they lose potentially 50% of their slots to someone who can't decorate to save themselves. And if optional what happens if the share is turned on when there are 5 items left?

I have items in both my house that friends dropped off and I dropped off in a shared estate. Removing this ability by losing the items when access is removed would be bs.

Honestly. I wish they let our alts have full access of the houses we own. I can't see why my alt can't use my house....or I can't share it with my alt.

I'd like an option to allow everyone to use the facilities in my house(the npcs, the retainer bell, aesthetician, etc).
