Account access to housing

One house per account per server is a thing, access to that house via the account should be as well.

Buy house on main character, create alt on same server, that alt should be able to help out with house too when you log over to it.
Though dunno about transferring ownership if you brought on alt and give to main, unless ownership you could buy house for one of your own characters and call it "Master" and "Servant" characters

Alts cannot be given tenant status in a house owned by a different character on the same service account. To make a character a tenant, they need to be on the owner's Friends list but the game doesn't allow us to friends our own alts (there was an exploit that some players had been temporarily able to use to do it but SE patched it out several years ago).

Ownership of a personal house cannot be transferred to any character.

YoshiP had said before Shadowbringer's release that changing the system so alts on the same world would be done automatically by the game was on their list of things to do but there were some "significant" technological hurdles they would have to overcome first. Nothing has been said about it since.
