FC de-leveling

First time poster, but I have a strange question. Is it possible to de-level a FC by any means?

Or is it just they can level but not de-level?

I'm not in position where I obviously want to de-level the FC, just want to make sure that I can't de-level it.

No you cannot delevel.

Its permanent, the only thing you can delevel is your level at your Grand company, by switching to another^^

Does the GC level for your fc actually mean anything?
