Chocobo Racing Abandoning Duty Penalty

There should be no penalty for abandoning a duty if you are queueing into chocobo racing without any other players.
I would understand if there were other players who had to wait in queue again, but when you're just watching YouTube videos on another tab while trying to get your 20 races in, what's the point? All it does is waste your time. This probably doesn't affect other players that much, but it happens to me basically every time I'm doing my Gold Saucer challenge logs.

Could just use the teams one, no queue that way. Although I'm not sure if it counts towards your weekly challenge log, it does count towards achievements.

This does seem like a weird oversight rather than something that would be intentionally wanted design; I recommend making a thread in the In-Game Bugs forum category; despite the name, the pinned rules mention that it’s both for bugs and overlooked issues.
