FF14 cause 100% disk usage and BSOD

FF14 cause 100% disk usage and BSOD

Hi FF14 community. Any fixed out there? I tried google and used many suggested methods. Problem still there. Only happen with FF14 game. After start game, it will spike up to 100% C drive disk usage and then BSOD.

Looking for people who had similar problem and fixed it. Thanks.:(

This may be due to a variety of issues, and may be difficult to pinpoint what the cause may be. It could be due to a hardware or driver issue on the PC. Have you updated or reinstalled your graphics card drivers to make sure they are up-to-date? It may also help to update your Windows operating system, and install any optional updates that aren't automatically installed as well. Lastly, have you tried a full uninstall and reinstall of the game? We would recommend to install the game on your PC's primary drive, if it has yet to be installed there.

Thank you for replying.

Yes, I had done all those suggestions above including reinstalling the full game. Still BSOD after a few min with FF14 and not other games, like death stranding in max graphic setting or other AAA games.

Have you got Antivirus running on your system? If so, have you excluded the game directory from any active scanning? Sounds like one/some file is being locked when the game is launched, which could result in 100% disk usage and the subsequent crash. Also exclude the game settings directory (usually in My Documents > Games)

Thanks. I tried turn off my anti virus while FF14. Still BSOD.
