Starting a new non-endgame LS

Hello all,

I just started playing the game about about a month ago and will be upping my playtime with the summer break. I haven't come across a social linkshell as of yet, and really enjoyed the one that I had in FFXI years back. Therefore, I'm recruiting for a Friendly Social/Support LS. A place to chat, find people to XP with, and ask advice every once and a while. No official site or application at this point. All that I ask of people who want to join:
1. Treat fellow members respectfully (Bullying / Harassment will not be tolerated)
2. No power leveling (just don't ask)

So if you're new to the game (or maybe just coming back) and are interested in joining, leave a reply or send me, Jiyon Uzuki, a /tell in the game.

Came back to the game after a small break and noticed that my previous linkshell was awfully quiet, so I broke the pearl and went on the hunt for a new LS. This topic helped me find a new home. The first thing Jiyon did after he handed me a pearl? He asked me why I wasn't a Monk yet, and told me we needed to fix that. I dragged him out to what I expected to be our certain demise in the middle of the god-forsaken desert of Thanalan, and he proceeded to tank my job fight for me while I punched on in utter amazement.

I have only been playing ffxiv seriously for a few days (although I have been 'around' since the beta), but I too came over from ffxi and am craving a good social ls to roll with!

WakingTheFallen is sixteen members strong today! I can't believe this LS started two weeks ago, and without any Ul'dah shouting or ridiculous harrassment, we've gotten more than a dozen more LS mates!

I'm amazed. I never thought that it would take off like this. Even without a lot of new incoming players, and in the midst of a flood of endgame- and requirement-based linkshells, we've managed to provide a fun place for people to learn the game and help others do the same, and each new member is inducted with the same ideals.
