Healers
I enjoy playing Ast but is there a reason that WHM drowns out the rest of the healers? It's seems pretty obsolete to play any of the other healers, they seem terribly op compared to the rest.
Don't if buff or nerfs are needed or is this just how it's going be, because I am genuinely curious

It doesn't. If your only metric to judge healers is simply HP restored, then sure.
Otherwise, all healers have strengths. I actually like them all more than white mage in CC.

Also depends on the game mode, while AST is one of the strongest options in CC it suffers from Frontlines being a clusterfuck, good luck getting your LB or your cards to hit more than 3 party members when they're all over the place.

WHM was the go to healer early release. After awhile ppl slowly starting to understand......yeah. AST is pretty scary if their setups line up. I don't want to mess with players that have spire on themselves. SGE great at overtime with their LB. Their DPS tools pretty good if the opportunity comes. SCH buff/debuff tools good in situations, just lacking more DPS options, but I like playing the passive healer. WHM is also strong if their LB lines up with your partner's LB....scary stuff. It's polymorph doesn't bother me as much anymore.
It's just......it just depends on the ppl you play with that makes or breaks the healer job. When it comes to buff or nerfs. I know SCH needs some slight changes since I main that job....especially deployment. If they can give it a longer cooldown by a extra second, won't have to have an accident double press. Aldo and Biolysis needs a 1k potency buff at least. Despite the team saying it's high rated, it's not being played like it should so I don't trust the %. I can see them buffing SGE's toxicon's duration on dmg taken. Cure potency increase from Kardia maybe....pretty lacking. I don't see them changing AST, it's in a good spot. The only way I can see them doing is nerfing dmg.....don't want them to touch AST at all. WHM.......all I can see them doing is buffing their DPS tools like Misery and Strike. It's healing it's in a good spot so I don't want them touching that.

Compare to all the other healers that are scary in their own way white mage is infuriating to deal with. If you happen to get bursted and a white mage joins in you have to pretend that either Purify doesn't exist or you have to watch that ability be wasted and be useless all at once. I don't see any other healers bypassing Resilience status like that.

I've been playing a ton of AST and they do a lot for the team that isn't seen in the end-game metrics. Honestly I think they may be OP. The draw cards are insanely good buffs, especially 10% team damage and limit break gauge generator. The limit break is 30% party damage and 30% damage mitigation. Massive swing potential in both CC and Frontlines.
You won't see how much extra damage you gave your team. You won't see the benefits of giving your team more limit breaks. You won't see the healing they were able to do from your mana regen.
I think AST might be the most powerful healing/support class in the game right now, and the least visible on the end-game score card.

WHM is just because it was overtuned with the new pvp changes earleir this year, and if someone has a healer unlocked, it's probably going to be a WHM aswell, so people stick with it.
But In terms of frontlines, AST can be really good, if not better, but it doesn't show on the scoreboard as much, which is what bad players only look at, they never realise the number of buffs they've been getting all game long.
Same with Bard, people say bard bad because low damage, but their utility isn't bad at all.
Hell, if they can hit their LB with most of their team around them, they contribute immensely to getting or losing a point, way more then 1 MNK or MCH LBing one guy.
