Suggestion: Echo toggle for Job-required BLU Carnivale stages
I've been going after continued progress in the Blue Mage jobline over the past year or so, and I've made it to the current final quest- however, before I can be fully caught up, I need to clear Anything Gogo's.
This fight has significantly frustrated me, in part because the second act is where I always fail- meaning I have to run through the slow first act every time. And the fact that this fight is outright required for progression in the BLU story means I can't do *anything* else of substance with Blue Mage before continuing since I've got a grand majority of the spells.
My suggestion is an Echo toggle for previous BLU Carnivale fights- at the very least, the three required fights for BLU quest progress (Dirty Rotten Azulmagia, The Catch of the Siegfried, and Anything Gogo's). I'd say at least 50-100% Echo. The Echo toggle could also be put on other fights to allow them to be completed easier, as well as allow players to obtain spells that require clearing X amount of fights in the Carnivale easier. This would be ideal, since one of the most important spells for BLU Healers- Angel Whisper- requires **near total completion of the Carnivale, 30 of 31 stages cleared**.
The reason the Echo would need to be a toggle is to preserve the challenge the related achievements bring- so in short, those achievements would need to be obtained without Echo. It could be a simple checkbox on the fight window. If the Echo toggle were to be added to all fights, I think it would also be an option to simply disable scores earned with Echo (the other main feature of replayability in the Carnivale).
