Why do we have "Thaliak's Favor", when he's the Scholar? Why don't we have an action named after Llymlaen instead? She's the fish goddess.

Thaliak is the father of Llymlaen (and Nophica), and has whole command over the aspect of water. He was born of the whorl and while they are associated with knowledge, he does have oceanic ties.
Llymlaen, while associated with fishing, is actually tied to navigation and as a guardian of the seas. While she did have twin serpents, Thalaos and Perykos, and is depicted as a fisherwoman, she's not really the "fish goddess".
Llymlaen is NOT a fish goddess... She has a fish tail like a mermaid, but she is the goddess of navigation and is the watcher of the seas (similarly, just because someone has bull horns, doesn't mean someone is the god of bulls). Llymlaen also commands the element of wind.
Thaliak is the father of Llymlaen and Nophica, and he's the teacher of Byregot. He is the god of knowledge and is the ruler of rivers. He also commands the element of water.
Both Llymlaen (sea) and Thaliak (river) are associated with water. But Thaliak a bit more since he actually commands the element of water.
Also, since "Thaliak's Favor" involves turning stacks of Angler's Art into GP (gathering points), it can be considered a form of ancient knowledge. So having it based on a Scholar / god of knowledge rather than a goddess of navigation seems more appropriate.
Lastly, since Llymlaen is Thaliak's daughter, you can also interpret Llymlaen as "the Thaliak's Favor" to the realm as well! ...a very arguable interpretation, but possible. :P
