1) If they moved the fabrication station to the left then there's clearly enough room to add a second one of the right. It would be helpful if we could allow low ranked members to use one while keeping the other one reserved for higher ranked members or crew.
At the very least it would allow FC's to work as a bigger team and achieve more in a shorter period of time. This "adjustment" of the room can be implemented as something you need to craft in the original Fabrication station (build a second one basically).
2) Right now you can send 4 ships manually & one at a time. But having to do it all manually is a bore so please add a function which allows us to accept all the items from the completed voyages at the same time and resend all available ships at the same time with just 1 command. It would also be nice if there was a diff effect if you sent all ships to the same location at the same time like getting a bigger inventory retrieval while causing more damage to the ships. Would help save time. But this last suggestion isn't a requirement (just thinking out loud). Would also be nice if you could auto repair all ships with the click of one button.
3) Add a few schematics on the board:
- The Aetherial wheel projects only allows for 1 level 3 action to be primed but to do that you need 70 hours to prime one before you get to use it. When they first added the furniture it could support 3 level 1 actions, 2 level 2 actions and 1 level 3 action. But lets be honest here... no one still uses level 1 actions if they have access to level 2. So I suggest adding a schematic for a compact Aetherial that shows 3 level 2 actions, 2 level 3 actions and maybe make room for a level 4 action when SE decides to add it lateron.
- Add a schematic to craft a glamour dresser for in the house that can also be sold on the market.
- Add stair schematics. It would be nice if we could also change the stair appearance & style in the house. I would love to have a smaller "split" stair like in an estate.
- Add schematics that allow us to change the texture of the floor in the garden so we can choose between grass, dessert, stone, flowerbeds, etc.
- Add a schematic for housing exterior that is tied to each class in the game (so one housing exterior that makes it look like a healer house, one for samurai, etc).
4) I would also add a workshop to apartments with 1 fabrication station (and increase their size a little bit) that has most of the schematics, just not the ones that involve housing exteriors and such since its of no use to them. And maybe give them a mini garden or in door garden so standalone housing would become less "wanted" to people who's mayor concern is the workshop or just having a bit of nature in or around their living place. Adding more in door furniture that shows plants could help with this.

Workshops need to be moved to GC so everyone can have access to them even without owning a house or apartment. That is what is needed. This FC only stuff is one of the main reason why some will buy up entire wards to farm gil.

The issue with grand companies is that the door is treated "private" which means no one would be able to assist eachother when having low crafters and wanting to aquire something that is too expensive on the market.

I see your point but I think your suggestion would require a full rework (more work) to pull it off. ALSO some of the schematics are only required for housing. If we gave everyone access then there would be too much competition on the market for certain things in which case it would become a likely scenario people go lower then the materials themselves to craft it... so the less people can build them the better. I think that using the workshop for private use should be treated different then how you use them for FC use so yes... maybe the GC can be used for privately used workshops instead of the apartments. However I believe that when combining both (instead of making people walk) would increase the chances of people feeling satisfied.

Adding a portal to them should be a trivial matter of adding it to an existing unused door near the GC which is something that can be done in their area editing tools (no programming required).Quote:

Since no schematic is ever added and worked on slowly every rank can have rights to the machine since it only takes 1 person now to work it
Everyone in my old fc always knew if you cloged the machine i was gonna delete your schematic n take your rights away for 2 weeks (unless rl emergency came up..Happen once)
