Healing in ARR + HW vs Healing in Endwalker
Hello, I've been experiencing something unusual recently.
When I complete roulette I go to trials etc. It all seems fine and dandy, however I noticed a very complete difference when playing in Dungeons in the early ARR + HW vs my recent playthrough of an endwalker dungeon.
In the earlier dungeons W2W pulls were okay but the tanks paced themselves and the damage seemed okay to control, the tanks surprisingly knew when to use their mitigation cooldowns when necessary.
Now to The Endwalker dungeon:
The Tank is sprinting at break neck speed pulling before I can even get to them, already taking damage. And if they die, they leave the party and DC. Not only that, if they're getting low on health its like they make no attempt to use a defensive cooldown, and if they decide to its already too late.
That's not all, the bosses and fights in the later expansions are far more fast paced, when compared to ARR + HW. And to be quite honest noticing the stark contrast of all of this is quite off-putting. It may sound weird but I enjoyed the slower pace of ARR/HW fights, I only had a few oGCDs but it was manageable and enjoyable. Then I come to endwalker and its like everyone drank a 2 liter of pepsi...
