Allow people to trial FC's
Housing shortage.. its something thats always been here and isn't easily fixed so I suggest a get-around to decrease demand for housing on a psychological level.
As it is now:
You can teleport to housing through the friendslist and enter the housing if guest access is ticked on.
If a house is shared you can use the NPC's and maybe move items if the host allows it.
What I suggest is reforming these 2 options and merging them into 1 basically:
- By allowing outsiders to apply to an FC for Membership or Spectator.
The second would allow outsiders to be "almost" treated entirely like members in which case they would be able to use all the NPC's & retainer bells + log into that plot every time they log into the game. In the memberslist those people would also be shown but with a clear "Spectator" mention instead of a rank mention. When they communicate they would also be using FC chat.
They would not be allowed to use the vault or gain rights to use the workshop & vessels (but they can deliver materials to projects, yet not collect them). But it would give them time to decide if they belong in the community or not after which they can leave at any given time without a penalty. They would however not enjoy the effects of FC actions/buffs.
If you have the spectator status and you want to join, the leader can simply promote you to a rank allready supported since the promoter rank would be added as an additional separate rank (rank 16 or -1).
