Any plans on Action bar scaling?

It's probably because I play on game pad, but it's always bothered me that I'm constantly glued to the action bar.
It makes it harder to see what's actually going on around me in battles, harder to dodge enemy WS's and just feels like it takes something away from the game for me.

I was wondering if there's any plans to allow us to scale the action bar.

My preference, because I use gamepad, would be to stretch it the entire length of the screen at the bottom.

I'm hoping by this it would be large enough I could focus on more important things, like dodging enemy weaponskills or scoping the layout of a fight. Rather then being force, glued to the action bar. I'd be able to control the action bar with my subconscious almost.

Also, having the action that's selected being full opacity and the rest at 75% opacity would help this "subconscious playing" as well.
