Just wondering what sort of queue times people are seeing on their respective world and at what Rank.
I'm currently at 30 min and counting for ranked queue. Which is the trend regardless of day or time.
I've been spamming casual because Gold on Materia seems completely dead. Im not sure if that's just our lower population, the lack of rewards for people or some other reasons.
What are your thoughts?
I believe it's mostly the lower Materia population. I think Crystal rank can sometimes pop, but the lower ranks are pretty much dead after a while.
I know someone who couldn't play on Materia last season after a bit because they didn't climb high enough in time. That's why they wanted to climb early this time so they could play on it more. I think there's a Materia PVP discord where people can sometimes plan to play a few games. I'm not part of that but you can maybe ask around in the Wolves Den.
Yes I got stuck in Plat last season because I took a break for a while. Its unfortunate.

Even Feast wich had better reward structure then CC had problems with Q times back in the day, it's just an issue with PVP in FFXIV not being very popular.
It's how rank operates that you're probably seeing what you're seeing. I wouldn't be surprised if more stories like this pops up.
elemental here, nothing pop outside of peak time, then queue is 5 mins. First season was 24 hour 5 min queues.
I don't know about CC yet but I tried getting my potd floors 90+ done 3 days each 5 hours queue without any results... what?
