Is there any way to report/avoid players who intentionally throw?

I just got into CC and I've been having a pretty good time with it, but I just had my first match where a teammate sat down in the spawn area and did nothing for the match. Is there a way to make sure I'm never teamed up with this player again?

Edit: I did blacklist the player, but I'm not sure if that makes them unable to pvp with me.

Nope, blacklist won't do anything. You're pretty much stuck with them.

You can try to report them but that doesn't seem to do anything. There's been plenty of reports sent about people who AFK and throw games and there is absolutely nothing done about them. That's why me and a lot of people are extremely skeptical about the validity of reporting. SE either doesn't care, takes too long to address reports or just can't do anything about those players. It's a plague on queues right now on Aether.

They would probably just make new accounts but at least it would slow their process.

They have a small few person task force handling the pvp reports, so it takes forever for them to get things done. Some more obvious stuff like wintrading to #1 has bee dealt with in the past though.

Since they react slow your best bet is to check wheter those people are already in a match or queuing up and try to either dodge them or pick the same Job and snipe them.

Yes, you are stuck. I honestly believe that there is a ton of win-trading going on right now, and that is being the most generous as to what I am seeing. You see the same names pop up, and on one side they are unlikable death gods who have 2+ on the Crystal, 500k healing done and 10+ assists (so you know they are helping to focus targets). Then on your team, they have 4 deaths, less than 30 seconds on the Crystal and no assists. Somehow there is a group that always seems to show up together and magically forget how to play all of a sudden. There is no escape and it is REALLY bad right now

I've seen it happen, experienced it, I know RNG plays a role in getting teammates and all... But, I've also heard that you can sometimes nail the same group teams by joining all at once. But I don't know if that is a myth or not. I've tried reporting once or twice because of this very same reason. People will AFK, or just sit there for a spell and wait it out so we all rush in and get hammered hard. It can get ridiculous but the occurrence has been rare for me thus far in ranked. In casual it happens more than I would be comfortable with. So I've been avoiding CC for the last day or so.

It's not really so much direct wintrading people do but instead they play until they have reached their desired rank, then troll the absolute shit out of CC games on their smurf, that includes playing totally new roles or sniping people that could endanger their rank. So brace yourself because the hard trolling is not even here.

If you just get trolled by one person, find him, look when he is gone otherwise if he was on your game wait 5 minutes and queue again. The chance that you line up again will take so many games.

Sadly there is no "Avoid being teamed with this player" option.

Just had a run where a GNB intentionally throwing the match. Going in, getting ko'd, then spamming the chat...try to blame the others, then get ko'd some more, costing the team the win. I just stop playing for an hr or 2...or the next day. The person was on Crystal rank at that.
