BLM point allot formula/solo questions

I have two quick questions:

1. After glancing over the Market Wards on a daily basis, I've noticed that there's a whole lot more "Mind" gear than their is "Piety" gear -- so my question is, would it be wise to dump my points entirely into INT and Piety, and then gear up for Mind and Magic accuracy? I mean, would that work for an end-game BLM?

2. I've been neglecting my Black Mage quests lately -- Would a level 46 BLM be able to solo the level 35 quest ["A Time to Kill"]? And what about the level 40 one ["International Relations"]?

1. I would go with piety. It's easy enough to get the m.acc you need through equipment and food. I did.

2. You should be able to solo everything except the 45+ quests at that point I believe.

^^^ Robert is right. You can put all your points into INT and PIE without any worries and at 50 Black Mage I was personally able to solo all my AF quests up to the final fight (and one AF piece, just cause you can't enter dungeons solo)

If you have trouble with the instanced fights you can change jobs if needed, or just out of Black Mage so you can heal yourself better, as soon as you enter the instance.

Not really. PIE is almost useless for blm at the moment, especially for end game.
Sure it's not hard to add more magic acc, and the benefit from the mnd is minimal... but the benefit from the piety is null.

yeah mnd is more usefull for blm (only for your points, you never have to stack mnd or pie on your gear).

It's 5 m.acc vs what? 5 enfeeble potency, ? MP (20-30?), and ? m.eva?

The last time i checked, 1 pie = 1 MP, so 23 pie = 23 MP. Idk for the magic eva (who cares anyway xD).

The magic acc from the mind will help to land your offensive spells and sleep(ga) while the enfeeble potency from the pie will help for the dot (actually you should have the cap for the DoT of flare, even if you dont have a pie gear or any point in pie) and the "accuracy" of stun/bind/gravity at least in theory because even w/o a gear you are never resist (normal mobs) or always resist (NMs).

At the end the things you got from pie won't help you.
