Little Question about the source (spoilers for HW and above)

My question is probably easy:

When did the WoL explicitly learn that he/she lives and fights on the source?
I know the cutscene in the Antitower, but this revelation from the word of the mother/Minfilia is merely an implication if anything.
There should be a scene before ShB where the WoL learned that he/she doesnt come from one of the Shards. The Warrior of Darkness did know he comes from the 1st, Unukalhai knew he came from the 13th reflection.
And in the first ShB quest we could answer the guardian (dont know the npc name) of Crystarium that we come from the "Source". I dont remember such explicit revelation, do you?

Please no spoilers from ShB, I played not far in the MSQ and the answer must lie before ShB content obviously.

The WoD Of Darkness says in the cutscene after Xelphatol that he and his crew came 'here, to the Source'. We'd kind of already deduced that we were on the Source before thanks to Hydaelyn after the Antitower, but that part directly says it.

I don't blame you for forgetting, it was kind of 'blink and you'll miss it' when it was said and you didn't necessarily have reason to believe that would be important.
