Please don't do maintenance on the 4th! America is off work!

Please reconsider doing your maintenance until after Independence Day. Lots of us have the day off and would love to be able to play.

The world does not revolve around the US. Stop acting like it does.

Please DO maintenance on the 4th!

Considering the amount of work they are about to do and the likely teams they had to organize for "smoke" testing.. I think this is far to late to change plans.

Well, if you have your backlog of Steam games in your library, the 4th will be a good time to try a few.

The majority of Money goes through the USA or China, the Majority of FFXIV players are in North America. The US the 3rd highest Population, Largest Economy with China being neck and Neck.

I just get a bit tired of "lets abuse American opinions" on these forums. Close to half of the Player Base has the 4th off, it's a good time to have the servers running, as you want to encourage people playing. The 24 hour downtime for patches, can be annoying at any time, but try and time those when people don't have a massive holiday. And by Massive, the 4th is a holiday that affects a large portion of the player base, and most people (besides Retail Workers) have the day off.
