Venting After a Toxic Run

I need to vent. Today is not going well. I had a very difficult day at work and I believe I lost a friend. I was trying to get my queues out of the way today, hoping I would feel better afterwards, but I ran into a troll and it made things worse.

So, I am leveling DNC and I wait almost 15 minutes for my leveling queue. I did some quests while I waited, so that was not a problem. The other DPS in the dungeon is DNC too. Whatevs. I place Closed Position on them, but then they snub me and put their Closed Position on the Healer. I do not say a thing, and just figure to myself "it is only a leveling roulette." I try not to let it bother me.

We fight that way until past the first boss. The healer, by the way, does not deal any damage the entire time. After the first boss, the other DNC gets all bossy and starts ordering the healer to do damage. I just raise my eyebrows, and keep on trucking. I switch my Closed Position to the tank, just to be a tiny bit passive aggressive, and tell myself, again, it is only a leveling roulette.

We clear two more groups of mobs, again with the healer doing no damage. One group the healer was not even present and the DNC was late too, because they went back and fourthin chat. I do not think it is a big deal, but then the DNC orders the tank to pull less groups, so the healer can find some time to DPS and the tank agrees to it...

I did lose it at this point and rage quit the team after calling the DNC toxic. I immediately had to log off and cool down.

All I want to do with this thread is vent. However, I also want to take the time to remind everyone who might read this, that every action you make in game matters. Some people may be having rough days, and this game may be the only thing left that can make them happy for a moment.

Definitely can understand that need to vent.

It helps to know you're not the only one experiencing some of the Duty Finder craziness.

I am also a proponent of the megathread. Good place to vent, sometimes you can pick up some play tips(often in a "dont do what that person did" type of way), and sometimes just as a sanity check(it can help to see that other people get groups just as bad or worse then yours sometimes). Im also sorry you had a bad day and a bad group on top of it. Best of luck going forward.

Also, only ever dance with the WHM! Their 1 button dps is the sickest :3
