Shouldn't the shroud gauge be above the soul gauge, and shouldn't the two bars be touching so its not taking up so much space.
Same for Death gauge, for what purpose does this need to exist, you can just do what inner release and blood weapon does, give a buff of 5 stacks. The gauges are only full during enshroud so why would I need this gauge to always be active.

The Death Gauge actually tracks two resources. Lemure Shroud stacks are used for GCD actions, and Void Shroud stacks are used for oGCDs. You would be unnecessarily creating two buff stack icon sets in place of a single UI element. I think it's reasonable to give players the option to 'Show Death Gauge only when Enshrouded', however.
What I would actually like to see is either the Soul Reaver stacks or the Soulsow buff tracked as part of the Soul/Shroud gauge element. It's just handier having all that information concisely expressed in the same part of the screen.
Also would be nice to turn off the MP bar on jobs which don't use it.
I was thinking about needing the removal of mana bars but another usage arises that mana bar is needed in pvp
would like to have the gauges where the mana bar is and have the option to disable the giant useless scythe image above it but keep the rest of the UI element
All job gauges have a toggleable simple view mode. It doesn't have to be the big stylish icon that it is by default.
I'm just saying the graphical version would be better if they removed the top portion with the scythe, it serves no purpose but taking up space
or remove death gauge and have the icons appear on the scythe like runes
