Introducing New Worlds to the European Data Centers

Latest info on Euro expansion.

Coming July 5th with DC Travel.

do we need new worlds?
Are all servers congested already?
I thought the problem was unequal distribution.

They certainly do in Europe it had some of the worst log in issues. I have characters on Spriggan on Chaos and look forward to new servers to help distribute and grow the DC's.

Japan DC only looks like a reorganization with no new worlds. There are 32 servers and they're adding a DC to make it so each DC has 8 servers. Wonder if Chocobo is going to be moved given I have a character there with a few friends (taking her through story now she's in Garlemald).

Those will be even more DoA than OCE. But I guess a few will take whatever poor bait SE came up with to lure players over

European servers are by the far the most densely populated so having two more home worlds per data centre is fine. That said, the entirely new data centre planned for next summer is interesting because I really fail to see how SE will populate 8 entirely new home worlds beyond locking Chaos/Light character creation entirely.

Ah geez, I love my Twintania but can't help but really amusing myself to transfer to Alpha or Raiden... I love both names

Yeah, Jpn is more redist. I remember 2 worlds getting taken out of my DC xD

heh no. They'll still be in the old populated Data centers.
So there should be no difference in queues
while OCE was completely new DCs, hoping to be filled with the OCE population from JPN DCs.
Which apparently aren't exactly that many.

I do not know how the situation is on JP servers. But EU servers are ~50% more crowded than JP servers. EU-Shiva is full in the evening so you cannot create new characters.

And i guess, they want to avoid a second EW-situation with 7k-ish queues in the future.
