Seems pretty senseless that I cant award a commendation to a player who has exited a duty.
Just because they've exited, I can't commend them?

If I have to make a wild guess, it probably has something to do with their spaghettified coding—similar ones that prevent players from blacklisting unless they’re in the same world.
If they wanted the coms though, wouldn't they stay?
I wish that was a thing but I'll take it even further by finding a way to accurately tell which healer saved my butt and/or our collective butts. Right now, I always gotta toss a coin before I pick and hope it went to the right one.
I imagine it's similar to a loot roll, just in reverse.
Duty Completion could put a flag on you that expires in a couple minutes and you could catch them on your social list, but it's probably not worth it for such a small thing.
Wouldn't call it cringe(seriously people need to stop using that word, I do exactly what the word is describing when I see someone use it), but it does feel a bit inappropriate or awkward?
I stick around through a cutscene to roll for loot(greeding on everything unless someone asks me not to) and maybe to chat with the people still in the instance if I found someone interesting or if there was a conversation going.
Ive wanted to give a Comm to a dps that saved the day, but because they left lighting fast I couldnt give them the props they deserve
D:
I find that unhealthy to stay just for the comms, so I feel for people who want to comm to the person that immediately leaves.
I tend to just get out fast unless there are some loot or feel like doing an emote to say goodbye.
You also get comms from PvP matches but it is also a 50/50 depending on the situation (stuff like win/lose quit the moment the match is over and not wait for the screen to pop up)
