Hyur Emotes

are lame compares to everyone elses. Highlanders have laughs that make them sound like they are dying. and absolutely fabulous poses. while Hyurs are just so plain and boring. Even their dance looks like a retard doing a half asses river dance.

So... re-roll a different race when 2.0 comes out and they give you the option to reselect your race?

Personally I can't understand why people ever pick the human race option in any MMO.

i am rerolling to Manthra lol. and i picked human cause of lack of options. I dont like elvaans to much and i hate huge looking things like galkas. and lolofail no thanks

I'm always choosing Humans because I can identifie with them the most.

Actually, I beg to differ...male elezen emotes are....ugh...so unenthusiastic. Not that I want my Stud Muffin to jump around like a Lalafel...but he could at least TRY to enjoy himself when he "dances".

Most emotes seems rushed and not as unique as their ffxi counterpart, some are out right horrible.

Though I don't see them fixing them so meh...

True....there's only a few I love doing. I hope they add more dances though...

Eh? Seriously?

The expressiveness of the emotes in XIV is one of the things that charmed me the most when the game first came out. (O.< ) As a hyuran midlander male, I find my emotes list to be pretty darn spiffy.

Incidentally, hyuran midland male has the best /pose of any race. :x You can take that to the bank.

I hope they let you play with emotes and sample gear when creating a character in the new 2.0 client character creation. That would have influenced my decision.
