constant disconnects/log in problems (primal/famfrit)

This problem started yesterday at 9pm- got an instant 90002 (no lag or anything. internet fine on my end) while in a dungeon and then several 2002s in a row on the queue screen while logging in, and then, after I finally got thru the queue it gave me a 10105 on the 'now loading' screen. plus several more 2002s trying to log in after that until I gave up.

Today I was able to log in again but only until I clicked on an npc and then got another instant 90002, followed by two/three 2002s on the queue. finally managed to log back in again, and got another instant 90002 as soon as I clicked on the retainer bell and then 2002'ed logging in again.

I've had problems with lag/rubberbanding before but now I feel silly complaining about that because this is making the game /literally/ unplayable. even if I'm lucky enough to get in I can't seem to interact with anything without getting booted again. Anyone else having this? any fixes? I'm going to try reinstalling, will update if that fixes it

preemptively:
- Are you using a wired or wireless connection? tried both, neither work
- Do you have any firewalls or anti-virus software installed on the machine if are using a Mac or Windows PC? If so, which ones do you have installed? PC, windows defender.
- Internet Service Provider: starlink, also tried on my mobile hotspot but it didnt help
- Location/Region you are in (Not in game, your actual location) Michigan, USA
- Does any specific error message/code occur when the issue happens? 90002/2002/10105
- Does the issue only happen with one specific character or a certain time frame? Please clarify. - haven't tried to log in on any other servers, but consistently since last night (saturday 9pm) on my famfrit character
