two jobs i want to see

Rune knight and Ranger

first why Ranger i think this would good job for it should be focus bleed effect and traps use hawk and crossbow would be good additions it add 4th range jobs give them a ranger hawk that come in with claws to add bleed effect also with the summoner lose it debuff this job could take some of those debuff up on it bolts

Rune knight there many way to do this job
persona i think it a job crave runes into a blade kind jobs it mage tank jobs with focus on tank use runes blades could handle of blade that might be interest rune knight focus have broke long sword with runes use as way create the blade and sword give rune effect and apply those rune to gear

I want a Geomancer that works a lot like in The Last Airbender.

BRD already covers Ranger in a lot of respects, so I think the chance of getting Ranger is pretty low. Personally, I want new jobs that are mostly unique thematically to FF XIV.

This. When I first started I was really glad that Archer upgraded into Bard because to me at that point so far Archer was just a regular bow/arrow job and it would have felt a bit weird in comparison to Machinist later. Instead it turned into a "magical" bow/arrow job with the addition of the music.

I don't see how anyone would sneak in another bow/arrow type job into the game. Certain items would have to be retconned too I think since we have a couple of crossbowish weapons for MCH and BRD already.

Also their idea of Rune Knight feels a bit close to Paladin doesn't it, just with a slightly different theme? Paladin is basically a magical tank knight. It's not a bad idea, but I don't know where it'd fit in. It could be a DPS sort like Red Mage maybe? Just while Red Mage focuses on casting to build up to its bits of melee, Rune Knight could focus on melee to build up to its casting.

Rune Knight is the class of several characters from FFT.

on a more serious note, an idol. To complete the set of dancer, instrument and singer

ranger could focus more on traps bleed effect for both hawk and barbed bolts it could be more focus different role then bard.
